The circuit

Tuscan hills, a 1.1-kilometre straight.

The Mugello Circuit lies in the Tuscan hills near Scarperia, around 30 kilometres north of Florence. The circuit is owned by Ferrari, is home to the Italian round of MotoGP and hosted a Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2020.

5.245 kilometres, 15 corners and a start-finish straight of more than a kilometre: Mugello is fast, flowing and full of elevation changes. The Casanova–Savelli sequence and the two Arrabbiata corners are among the finest sections in Europe. Here it is not power alone that counts, but how cleanly you link the fast direction changes.

Limited field size

1:1 instructor coaching
Bookable on site on request – especially on a new circuit, the quickest route to a clean line.
Photo content included
Professional shots of your sessions are included in the price. Video on request.
Garages available
For one or both days – room for car, tools and team.

Frequently asked questions

All about Mugello

Is Mugello suitable for beginners?

Yes, with a little respect. The circuit is fast and has elevation changes, but also generous run-off areas. Two days give you time to build up gradually – a 1:1 coaching session speeds that up considerably.

Do I need a racing licence?

Not for the sports car group – a valid driving licence is enough. For the race car group a valid licence is required. If you do not have one yet, talk to us: our licence courses get you there quickly.

Which tyres are allowed?

In the sports car group only road-legal tyres are allowed, semi-slicks included. In the race car group slicks and race setups are permitted.

Which noise limit applies at Mugello?

At our most recent trackdays at Mugello the limit was 105 dB. With production cars this is not an issue. If you have an aftermarket exhaust, talk to us before booking.

Can I book a garage?

Yes, for one or both days. You can book the garage together with your place or add it later.

Is it worth the long journey?

Yes. Mugello is one of the most beautiful circuits in the world, and two trackday days combine well with a few days in Tuscany.

Where should I stay?

In the Mugello valley around Scarperia and Borgo San Lorenzo there are agriturismi and hotels a few minutes from the circuit. If you want to spend the evening in town, stay in Florence. After booking we send you our recommendations.

What happens in bad weather?

Trackdays take place in all weather – that is part of it. Only if conditions make a safe event impossible will we interrupt or postpone. In that case we inform you directly.

Do I get photos of my trackday?

Yes. Professional photos of your sessions are included in the price. Video can be added on request.
