The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya lies in Montmeló, around 25 kilometres north of Barcelona. Formula 1 has raced here since 1991, and for many years the circuit was the most important venue for winter testing.
Its 4.657 kilometres combine almost everything a car needs to be able to do: a long start-finish straight, fast and slow corners, changes of direction under load. That is exactly why Barcelona is regarded as a benchmark circuit – a setup that works here works almost everywhere. And there is no noise limit at our tests.

A benchmark circuit with no noise limit.
4PROS is our test format for race teams, run together with PARAGRAPH5. We hire the circuit exclusively, keep the field small and take the organisation off your hands. In Barcelona we run in November 2026 and on four further dates in 2027 – in February, March, July and November. There is no noise limit at our tests there.

- You run when your programme calls for it. No sessions, no waiting for the next slot.
- A maximum of 24 cars
- Small fields, free laps and plenty of room for long runs, qualifying simulations and driver changes.
- GT and LMP only
- GT2, GT3, GT4, GTE, one-make cups and LMP2 to LMP4. Formula cars run at our formula test days.
- Timing with sector times
- Professional timing is included; a data stream for your engineers can be booked.
- Tyre service and photos
- MTS fits and balances right on site. Professional shots of your test are included.
- One dedicated contact
- A multilingual coordinator on site takes care of everything that has nothing to do with driving.

Getting there
On the doorstep of Barcelona.
Montmeló lies on the AP-7 motorway north of Barcelona. Cars and equipment reach the circuit from southern Germany via France in two days.

When do the tests in Barcelona take place?
On 10 and 11 November 2026, then in 2027 on 16 and 17 February, 24 and 25 March, in July, and 3 and 4 November. All dates are listed above.
Is there a noise limit in Barcelona?
There is no noise limit at our tests in Barcelona. So you can run even loud race cars without restriction.
Which cars are eligible?
Eligible are GT cars of the GT2, GT3, GT4 and GTE classes, one-make cups such as Porsche Cup, Ferrari Challenge and Lamborghini Super Trofeo, as well as LMP2, LMP3 and LMP4 (JS P4). LMH, LMDh, JS 2R, Group C and GT1 on request. Formula cars and other open wheelers are not admitted at 4PROS.
What is included in the test day?
At least seven hours of open pitlane, professional timing with sector times, photos of your test, tyre service by MTS on site and a dedicated coordinator as your contact. A timing data stream and catering for drivers and mechanics can be booked as extras.
