Which cars can I take part in a trackday with?

At our trackdays we make a point of keeping street-legal sports cars and race cars apart from one another. That raises both safety and enjoyment on track.

At Afterwork Trackdays only street-legal sports cars are allowed. Every car must have a current registration and street-legal tyres fitted. Slicks are not permitted!

If you own an electric car, please contact us before booking, as we need to have your entry cleared by the circuit.

At our trackdays run in groups you can enter the Street group with a street-legal sports car. Race cars run in the Track group, where slicks are of course allowed.

As a rule we currently have no suitable events for the following categories:

• SUVs
• formula cars
• open wheelers
• karts

Hidden costs? Not with us.

We believe that good moments get even better when you share them. So we do not charge any extra fee for additional drivers or passengers.

You can simply have them fill in the disclaimer on site and check them in at our registration desk.

Important: the minimum age for passengers is 16. If a passenger is a minor, their parent or guardian also has to sign the disclaimer.

Do you always run slicks on a circuit? No! On your street-legal sports car we recommend sports tyres or a semi-slick. At trackdays where road registration is a requirement, NO SLICKS ARE ALLOWED!

At trackdays with a race car group, SLICKS ARE ALLOWED in that group, of course.

READY FOR ANYTHING

Whenever a car is driven, small problems can crop up. Most of them you can sort out yourself if you have the right tools.

That is why you will always find a technical corner at our events, with tools and a compressor so you can adjust your tyre pressures.

That way, if something does happen, we get you back on track quickly — and safely home in any case.

You just want to drive and not worry about anything? No problem either. Together with our partners we put together the perfect package, in which your car is looked after completely.

If you want to lean back even further, we can also offer you a rental car for the circuit. From a BMW M2 to a Ferrari 296 GT3, we have it all. Just send us a short e-mail telling us what you want.

YOU ARE NOT YOURSELF WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY

Nobody turns into a diva with us. That is why you can help yourself free of charge to coffee, drinks and fruit at our coffee bar. We deliberately leave out the sweets — your health matters to us.

At all full-day trackdays the circuit restaurant is open as well, or we have arranged catering that you can add on site for yourself and your companion.

We at TWENTYSEVEN believe our favourite hobby is worth sharing. How else is your partner or your friends at home going to understand how much cars and motorsport mean to us, and what there is to experience out there?

That is why we have a professional motorsport photographer at every event. And the best part — you get all the photos FREE OF CHARGE after the event. Of course we are delighted if you tag us in your social media posts.

ARE LAP TIMES TAKEN AT THE TRACKDAYS?

As a rule, our trackdays advertised for road cars are driver training events and are not about setting top speeds. So no times are taken there.

At our trackdays that include a group for race cars, professional timing is offered specifically for that group. It helps race teams prepare for upcoming races.

YOUR SAFETY COMES FIRST

At every TWENTYSEVEN trackday our full focus is on your safety. That is why maximum track safety cover and an experienced emergency doctor go without saying for us, and are always booked in addition at the circuits. A compulsory driver briefing and constant supervision of the running by race control are absolute standard with us too.

Every circuit has a certain maximum capacity, which says how many cars may be on track at the same time. Because your safety matters most to us, we keep our entry numbers well below that maximum capacity. That has a nice side effect as well: at our trackdays you always have clear track and there are virtually no stoppages. And since transparency matters to us, every event description states how many cars are admitted in the group or the event in question.

You are never done learning.

One of the best ways to take your driving to the next level is to book coaching with one of our experienced professional instructors. Why does that make so much sense? Let us take a look:

1. Coaching that meets you where you are: everyone knows different things. So it matters that coaching addresses exactly what you want and is cut to your level of experience. Whether it is your first time on a circuit or you already have plenty of laps behind you — coaching always brings new input, makes you safer and faster at the same time.
2. Technical expertise: our instructors are experienced motorsport professionals with deep specialist knowledge. They know the subtleties of every circuit and can give you valuable insight into line choice, cornering technique and the behaviour of your car, to improve your lap times.
3. Improved safety: safety comes first. Our instructors can help you get familiar with the safety rules and procedures on track. They will also teach you how to control your car safely and deliberately, so you can work at the limit without crumpling anything. That helps you not just on the circuit but on the road too.
4. More confidence: an instructor can build your confidence by helping you master challenges and overcome fears. With their feedback and support you develop faster and avoid mistakes. Perhaps you have already had a big moment on track and have had a mental block since — you no longer quite trust yourself. Our coaches help you release that and work at the limit again, free of fear but with respect.

There are always coaches on site at our trackdays. But they are in high demand! So it is worth booking your coaching in advance. Simply add it when you book your trackday, or send us an e-mail if you have already booked.

YOUR START INTO YOUR TRACKDAY — SAFE, QUICK, PREPARED

Whether DTM, GTWC, ELMS or Formula 1 — no event on a circuit works without a proper briefing.

In racing series the briefing covers flag signals as well as specialities such as safety car lines, but we leave that part out and concentrate on the essentials. That delivers maximum safety, eliminates frustration and puts a grin on your face out on track.

Everything you need to know before you head out

Our briefing is compact, practical and to the point. You learn:

Flag signals: yellow, blue, red, … – what every flag means and how to react correctly.

Car preparation: tyre pressures, brakes, oil level – everything to get your car perfectly fit for the trackday.

Safety standards: protective equipment, what to do if there is a problem and clear rules for running safely alongside one another.

Rules on the circuit: overtaking, entering and leaving the track, treating each other with respect – everything that protects you and everyone else.

Why the briefing matters so much

On a circuit every second counts – and safety is no accident. With our briefing you are well prepared to go flat out, confidently and safely. Whoever knows the rules and has prepared their car can concentrate on what really counts: the sheer pleasure of driving, the adrenaline, the speed and the thrill on track.

Attending the briefing is compulsory, but do not worry: it is short, informative and makes sure you can start the day relaxed and looking forward to it.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR A TRACKDAY?

Preparing for a trackday is crucial for safety and a guarantee of enjoyment.

First you should check your car thoroughly. Pay particular attention to tyres, brakes and fluid levels. It is also important to remove all loose items from the cabin and to fit your tow hook for emergencies.

Before you go out you can also drop your tyre pressures a little in the pit lane, because they will rise again while you are running on track. If you do not have a pressure gauge, we have one for you in our technical corner.

To be perfectly prepared you can read through our general briefing in advance. It explains everything about flag signals and how to behave on a circuit. Important — reading the briefing does NOT replace attending the briefing on site. That remains compulsory, because only there can circuit-specific points be covered that may have changed at short notice. We still recommend reading the briefing beforehand and committing it to memory. Why? On site there are a lot of new impressions, and you did not go into a vocabulary test at school without revising either, did you? ;)

Anyone who ignores the rules can be excluded from the event. There is no refund in that case.

Helmets are compulsory at all TWENTYSEVEN trackdays, without exception. If you do not have a full-face or open-face helmet, you can borrow or buy one from us (please let us know in advance if you need one, so that we can bring the right size). The hire charge is €25.

Make sure you are fit. Drink plenty of water before the event, because driving on a circuit is demanding physically as well as mentally. We always have snacks and drinks ready for you on site.

Prepare yourself mentally for the event. You can look at our circuit maps or onboard videos in advance to get familiar with the track. One thing matters here: watch a video with a comparable car. If you are coming in a street-legal Porsche GT3, for instance, Kevin Estre's braking point in the GT3 R will not apply to you.

Take the pressure off yourself. Even experienced racing drivers are as excited as small children at Christmas just before they head out. Always be clear about this — you do not have to prove anything to anyone, and even if you only circulate steadily, you will drive home in the evening a better driver. If you are unsure, you can call on one of our coaches at any time. We are always there for you.
