The Grand Prix circuit

Eifel asphalt. F1 layout. Big names.

The Nürburgring's Grand Prix circuit was built for Formula 1 in 1984. 5.148 kilometres, 15 corners, 57 metres of elevation change — and names every petrolhead knows in their sleep: Mercedes Arena, Veedol chicane, Michael Schumacher S, NGK bend, Coca-Cola corner.

At our trackdays you drive on exactly that circuit. No race-day stress, no mass groups — just asphalt, your car and the sun slowly disappearing behind the Eifel hills.

What to expect

What comes as standard with us.

Limited field sizes, clear rules, a relaxed atmosphere — and the certainty that everything is in place on the day. Which format we run for a given date is stated with the date itself.

Maximum track time
We plan our days so that as much time as possible stays on track. The schedule and track time are stated with every date.
Limited field size
Deliberately smaller than at many other organisers. More track time, less queuing in the corners. The field size for each date is stated with the date.
Passengers & co-drivers included
You can take passengers along and share the car with a second driver — at no extra cost. Share the trackday, double the experience.
1:1 instructor coaching
Bookable on site if you want it. First laps or fine-tuning your times — our coaches meet you where you are.
Photos included
Professional photos of your laps are included in the price. Moving footage on request.
98 dB noise limit
Rarely an issue with road-legal production cars. With modifications, check with us beforehand.

No car of your own

Rent a sports car at the Nürburgring.

No track car of your own? No problem: for our trackdays on the Nürburgring GP circuit you can rent a ready-to-race car from our fleet – for example the BMW M2 Competition by 24/7 Performance with race suspension, limited-slip differential and technical support right at the track.

Want to try it first? Then book laps in the BMW 325i or M3 E92: you drive yourself, an instructor sits beside you. From €199 for two laps – we set the date together after booking.

Parc Fermé

To finish: barbecue in the paddock.

When the last car comes off track, the day is not over. The cars stand side by side in the paddock, the engines cooling — and we let the day wind down together over a barbecue and cold drinks.

Not a networking event with standing-table choreography — but the circle where the best stories get told: about the corner that finally came together today, and the one braking zone that still needs work.

Included for drivers. Companions are welcome — for a voluntary contribution to our charity collection.

“The Grand Prix circuit behind you, the Eifel in the evening light — and a cold drink in the paddock.”

Frequently asked

Everything about the Nürburgring

Which format do we run at the Nürburgring?

We set that per date. Track time, group split and which cars are admitted are stated with each event in the shop. One thing is fixed: we run the Grand Prix circuit, not the Nordschleife.

Do we drive the Nordschleife?

No. Our trackdays take place on the Grand Prix circuit (5.148 km, 15 corners) – not on the Nordschleife. The difference: on the GP circuit you drive in a closed trackday format with a limited field instead of the public traffic of the tourist drives.

Is the Nürburgring suitable for trackday beginners?

Important: we run the Grand Prix circuit, not the Nordschleife. The GP layout is FIA Grade 1 — modern run-off areas, clear braking points, a layout that lets you learn. For ambitious trackday beginners it is one of the better first circuits in Germany. 1:1 coaching is bookable on request — a good idea especially the first time.

Which car may I drive?

The basic requirement is a technically sound car. Whether slicks and a full race setup are allowed depends on the format of the particular date and is stated with the event. We recommend fresh brake fluid (DOT 4 or better) and enough tyre left before you travel.

Can I rent a car at the Nürburgring?

Yes. For our trackdays on the Nürburgring GP circuit you can rent a sports car from our fleet, for example the BMW M2 Competition – ready to race, with technical support at the track. All cars and prices are listed under rental cars.

To get started there are laps in the BMW 325i or in the BMW M3 E92: you drive yourself, an instructor sits beside you.

How does the day work on site?

You arrive, check in and receive your start number. Before the first session there is the drivers' briefing — marshals, flags, entry and exit. Then it is out on track. We send you the exact schedule for your date before the event.

Can I take passengers along?

Yes — and this is one of the things that sets us apart from many competitors: passengers and a second driver in the same car are included at no extra cost. So you can share the trackday, show someone what it is like, or simply take turns.

What does the 98 dB noise limit mean for my car?

With road-legal production cars the limit is rarely an issue — most OEM exhaust systems are well below it. With aftermarket sports exhausts or older performance models, a quick check before you travel is worthwhile. If in doubt, contact us beforehand and we will help. You will find more in our knowledge section.

What about insurance — what if I crash?

Your regular motor liability and comprehensive cover generally does not apply on a racetrack. Since 2025 a separate participant liability cover under §5d PflVG has been mandatory. Day comprehensive cover (damage to your own car) is optional but strongly recommended. We are happy to put you in touch with a suitable insurer.

What happens in bad weather?

Trackdays go ahead in any weather as a matter of principle. Rain can be one of the best learning experiences, because you have to feel braking, line and weight transfer more precisely. Only in extreme conditions do we postpone — in which case you get a transfer to another date or a full refund.
