Your Ticket into Official Motorsport

The DMSB National A Racing License is the basic requirement for participation in national motorsport championships in Germany. It opens the door for you to official grassroots series, cup events, and club races under the umbrella of the German Motorsport Federation.

The license course includes theoretical instruction on regulations, flag knowledge, and vehicle safety technology, as well as practical components directly on the racetrack. After successfully completing the course, you can apply for your license directly with the DMSB.

What's special: The course takes place as part of our regular track day on May 2, 2026, at Bilster Berg. You not only acquire the license – you experience the day directly on one of Germany's most beautiful private racetracks.

Vehicle Safety & Equipment

Technical basics of safety equipment, roll cages, fire extinguishing systems, and driver equipment – what is mandatory, what is recommended?

Track Knowledge Bilster Berg

Theoretical introduction to the characteristic points of the Bilster Berg Drive Resort: braking points, apexes, critical sections, and marshaling positions.

Practical Part on the Track

The theoretical knowledge is applied directly at Bilster Berg. As part of the regular track day, you gain your first license-relevant driving experience.

Completion & License Application

After successful completion of the course, you will receive all documents for applying for your DMSB National A racing license directly from the DMSB.

What you should bring

Driving License Class B

A valid car driving license (Class B) is a basic prerequisite for applying for a DMSB National A racing license.

Proof of fitness for sport

A medical certificate of fitness for sport (according to DMSB requirements) is required for the official license application. You will receive details upon registration.

Vehicle & Equipment

You will need a vehicle for the practical part. A helmet and safety clothing in accordance with Bilster Berg's track day regulations are mandatory.

DMSB Membership

The license is issued via the DMSB. Club membership or direct DMSB affiliation is required for this.

Minimum age 16 years

The minimum age for the National A license is 16 years. For minors, a declaration of consent from their legal guardians is required.
