Afterwork Trackday Hockenheimring 2026 – Open Pitlane for Sports Cars
Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg · 23 May 2026 · Open Pitlane, 17:30–20:00
How it went
Saturday afternoon, 15:00. The gates of the Hockenheimring open — and the paddock in front of pit boxes 1–9 fills up with the best the road has to offer. Our first Afterwork Trackday at the Hockenheimring was completely sold out. Not a single spot left. You are amazing!
That Saturday evening in May had everything a trackday needs: bright sunshine, warm air and an atmosphere money can't buy. What happens when the best community with the coolest cars meets one of the most beautiful short-circuit layouts in Germany — see for yourself here.
No groups. Green pit light. Out on track — whenever you want.

Open Pitlane — the format
At the Afterwork we go with Open Pitlane: everyone drives whenever they want — no queues, no group calls. Designed for road-legal sports cars, it creates a remarkably homogeneous flow on track. No traffic. No crowding. No time pressure. Just two and a half hours of enjoying what the sports car gods have given us.
From 17:30 to 20:00, the short, technically demanding IDM layout of the Hockenheimring was ours. Every lap a little adventure — with the evening light bathing the main grandstand in warm gold.
What was on track
Once again, the line-up was top-notch. Next to each other in the pit lane, side by side on track: Porsche 718 Spyder RS, Porsche 992 GT3 RS, Porsche 996 GT3, Ferrari SF90, Lotus Exige, BMW M2 24/7 Performance, Aston Martin Vantage F1 — and many more sports cars proving that passion doesn't need a particular badge.
Road-legal, technically at the highest level, and all with one shared goal: a clear lap on a real race circuit.
Sun, track, atmosphere
23 May delivered everything you could wish for on an evening at the Ring. Warm temperatures, hardly any wind, a sky without a single cloud. The light just before 20:00 — that golden evening light reflecting off the flanks of the sports cars — turned the track into something you won't forget anytime soon.
Our partner Pagoni from Ulm provided the perfect coffee on site — because even an Afterwork Trackday gets better with the right espresso. Technical support came from Zebra Racing, who were on hand with expert advice on tyre pressures and setup questions. From now on, Zebra Racing will be with us at every Afterwork — a partner we trust.
The faces behind the helmets
What really makes a trackday doesn't happen on the track — it happens next to it. In the pit lane, where drivers debate racing lines. At the Zebra Racing tyre pressure station, where three people suddenly spend half an hour talking setup philosophy. Or simply up in the grandstands, where you take a breath and watch for a moment.
These are exactly the moments we want to create with the Afterwork format. And they happened — all by themselves.
Welcome to the Parc Fermé
After the last car had left the track, we presented our new event concept: the Parc Fermé. Helmets off, engines off — and then get together. Drivers, companions, team. Grilled sausages, cold drinks, real conversations.
The Parc Fermé is free of charge for all participants and their guests. No surcharges, no VIP tiers. Simply the motorsport community as it should be: together, on equal terms, in a relaxed atmosphere.
And because we care not only about the driving but also about everything around it: 100% of donations go to social institutions. At the Hockenheim Afterwork on 23 May, together we raised €432.50 for Boje Tübingen e.V. — a children's hospice. Thank you for every contribution.
What sets TWENTYSEVEN apart
We don't organise events that simply work. We create evenings people still remember when summer is over. The Afterwork Hockenheim was only the beginning — sold out the very first time, with a community that immediately understood what it's all about.
The next Afterwork is coming. If you want to be there, book early. That's not a rumour. That's experience.
TWENTYSEVEN Trackdays — driven by passion.
